On February 17th, 2009. Fire crews were called to the scene of a working house fire on High St. in Stanhope Boro. Crews were met with an extreme smoke condition and heavy fire. House was a 3 story balloon frame dwelling. Crews were able to bring this fire under control after a long 7 hours at work.
